Free lecture on LAP-BAND surgery now being offered at Palm Bay Community Hospital

[PALM BAY, FL] – Palm Bay Community Hospital is now offering LAP-BAND® (adjustable gastric banding system) surgery, a type of weight loss surgery for individuals who meet certain criteria. General Surgeon Patrick Domkowski, MD, PhD, will be offering free informational lectures on the procedure.

The first lecture is scheduled for Thursday, July 31, at Palm Bay Community Hospital, located at 1425 Malabar Road, N.E. in Palm Bay. Lectures are also scheduled for Tuesday, August 26, and Tuesday, September 23. All lectures start at 7 pm in the hospital’s Community Room.

These lectures are designed to provide men and women more details about the surgery, including the LAP-BAND® system, patient criteria, and recovery and aftercare.
